After changing my ID I bought a new iphone, and I restore from an old copy , Itunes works fine with the new ID , but Icloud still asking me for my OldID

Well.

My old phone has been stolen, so I changed my ID and password, I have no troubles with itunes and my new id works fine in my other products( macbook, ipod) . Now i bought a new iphone and I restore it from and pre-stole date. Now I can use anything from Itunes, but ICloud still asking me for my old ID . I tried using my new and old password and simply won't work.

I tried to config my new iphone as a new one, but because of Icloud I can´t (because find my iphone is active).

What can I do?.

Thanks in advance.

Rodrigo.

Hello mrspruance,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

If I understand right, you're being prompted to enter the password for your old Apple ID (iCloud account.) Also, you're not able to restore your new iPhone because Find My iPhone can't be turned off.

There are some Support articles that may help with this situation. If you haven't already, try the steps at this link when signing out of iCloud:

If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud

You can also try removing your device(s) from Find My iPhone by signing in to iCloud.com. See the steps in the "Remove an iOS device you no longer have" section of this article:

iCloud: Remove your device from Find My iPhone

Sincerely,

Jeremy
