Flv Crunch safe?

Has anyone ever heard of this app? I couldn't find it on the appstore and there were no

reviews about it on the internet but so many links to download it....

MacBook Pro, os x version 10.9.5

I have never heard of it but it seems legitimate. It took some effort to find the actual download page. There are lots of scammers who have wrapped it in adware and make it available for download. Here is the genuine software: http://flvcrunch.awardspace.us/

I've been using it for years with no difficulty. It's a great piece of software. It's so useful I've actually gone looking for the author to pay him/her, but have been unsuccessful.
