Rotation lock on triple click iPad Air 2

With the iPad Air 2 the (physica) switch is gone and as a result a simple way to enable/disable the rotaion lock.

I really miss this feature but from my perspective their would be a simple and elegant alternativ, at least for me.

In the accessibility settings you can define a triple-click function ( the entry is called accessibility shortcut).

I don't use any of the features available in this menu, therefor I would suggest to add a toggle rotation lock function here.

it would be a quite simple way to toggle rotation lock be a triple klick on the home button.

what do you think? Do you know a way to influence apple to add this?

i already added a feature request with without Luck.

You can swipe up from the bottom of your screen an access the rotation lock in the little control panel there (at least I can on my iPod, I'm making a leap that it's there as well on the iPad)

Skydiver119 is correct. The rotation lock is now located in the control center (swipe up from the bottom of screen). It now takes two steps to lock, swipe up then tap the rotation lock icon (and perhaps another tap to go back to whatever app you're using).

Ohh sorry I forgot to mention this. Yes for sure I know this way.

But in fact this are 3 steps:

- swipe up

- touch on a quite small rotaction lock switch

- swipe down

from a usability perspective their is no intuitive flow in this operation

therefore a simple triple-click option would be much easier

btw for the iphone it would help too
