iBooks unable to open file on iPad through the FileBrowser application

I have a user trying to open iBooks files on an iPad and those files are stored on a network share through an application called FileBrowser. The user clicks on the file from the FileBrowser App and selects Open In and then chooses iBooks. The file gets downloaded but instead of iBooks opening that file it opens a file that he already had saved in his iBooks. It kind of seems like cache issue.

On the other case I'm able to open the same file using the same method but I do not have any other iBooks files within iBooks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
