I'm at school, letting my iPod charge when all of a sudden, i get a lot of notifications. i go check and see then. i ignore them since i was helping with the props for my school play. i come back to check the time but all i see is a blank, black screen. it won't turn on. i charged it for a while now but nada...

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
