What do you mean by opens on the desktop?
Does it just appear on the desktop?
This is the Mac Pro desktop forum.
A better place would be

It is related to Windows Help file for Bootcamp. If you look at Bootcamp.xml, you will see

You may have opened this file in Finder which has retained the context.
Please boot in Safe Mode and then boot normally and test. Reference - OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support
Thank you for your assistance although "safe mode" is cool and it looked like it might work a few seconds after my desktop populated the folder opened automatically again. Doh !!!
Thank you
Can you right-click on the folder and choose Get Info? Take a screen shot using Grab, remove any personal information as you see fit, and post it as a reply.
I deleted what was in there but the folder still opens, no big deal though I will be getting a new MacBook Pro any day now. Just couldn't figure out why since the first power up after boot camping the machine with a hybrid HDD and loading Windows 7 on the other partition this happened.
Thanks for your help 8-)
Do you want to try and repair permissions?
Sure, what can I do ?
Please see Disk Utility 12.x: Repair disk permissions and Disk Utility 12.x: Repair a disk.
Neither of these will help you if there are missing files. The best cure for missing files is re-installing OS X - OS X Yosemite: Reinstall OS X.
