Syncing iPod Nano 2nd Gen

I have a iPod Nano 2nd generation which will not appear in my iTune menu (Mac OS X; iTunes 12.1.2.27). I've tried to reset it and to put it in disk mode. I've tried two USB cables. I've restarted iTunes twice. I sync our IPod Nano 7th Gen often.

Have you tried to hard reset your ipod?


Instructions:

1. Toggle "Hold" from off > on > off

2. Press and hold the "Menu" & "Center" buttons

3. Release the buttons when the screen darkens itself

4. Wait (a few seconds) until the iPod menu screen reappears
