Copy Pictures out of the Photos Application

Hi, I am having troubles dragging out pictures from the new Photos application on my MacBook Pro, into safari and webpages like google drive. I need to export it onto the desktop and from there drag it into google drive. Exporting it like this is a pain, especially when dealing with large numbers of photos. Does anyone have a solution?

Make a Folder on your Desktop, “Exported Images”, for example
Within Photos.app, click "Photos” on the left hand pane
Press COMMAND+A (or Edit > Select All), to select all the images in your library.
Then, File > Export > Export [number of selected images] items...
Select the Desktop folder created in (1) as the destination

Hi nbar,

Thanks for the quick reply. That is what I am currently doing but is there any way to directly drag and drop photos from the photos app into a google drive webpage?

To my knowledge, no. You can, however, perform a batch upload of the exported images within Google Drive’s web interface. Simply upload the folder of exported images, then delete it from your desktop upon completion.

I wish Apple hadn't taken away this feature. It was there in iPhoto and now its not.😟
