The Custom Generator in FCPX 10.2 doesn't give me the option to select a color?

The "Custom" Generator, which I use all the time for different solid colored slates in my edit (white background, blue background, etc.) does not allow me to select a color anymore. When I click on the "Generator" tab in the inspector, i see "published parameters" and nothing else. Does anyone know how to fix this? I use this all the time! Thank you.
