Print from iPad Problem - Need Help

I have an email with two attached PDF documents. I can print them just fine from my iMac with OSX Mavericks. However, trying to print them from the iPad, it is ugly. The output is tiny. Further, the only paper size/type available is 4x6 photo or #10 envelope from the print dialog. I cannot find any "preferences" for PDFS in the iPad settings area. What can be done to make PDF docs print correctly? BTW - my printer is an Epson XP-820.

Are you printing directly from the attachments or saving them first?

Directly from the attachment. Should I save it somewhere first and then print it?

If it's possible yes, it might save to the photos app.

Well, that didn't work. Saved it to drop box and then tried printing from there. Same result. Opened it in my work processing app "Textilus", sent it to the printer and it is still tiny, prints in the middle of the page, about 1/3 the size it should be. Other stuff I print from the iPad comes out as it should - just PDF documents are hosed.

Most printer manufacturers have a free app that facilitates wi-fi printing. I had one for Epson and now I use one for a Canon.

There is also an Adobe app that allows (I think) printing from there.

Barry - you were right on it! I installed the Epson iPrint free application from the App Store and it works great. I was able to print the PDFS successfully right from the PDF view and also when I'd saved it to my Dropbox and print d it from there. Thanks a gazillion!!
