i connect my iphone 6plus to my computer and i want to restore my iphone using itunes but i tunes does not automatically open and even when i open itunes my phone does not connect to itunes and i can't restore my new iphone with my old iphone backup

I've experienced this problem with my windows computer/6 Plus combo, and I've found that unplugging and reconnecting works 2 out of 3 times. No idea what's causing it, though.
Try cleaning the connector on the bottom of the phone. Use a bright light, magnifier and toothpicks.
