(1) How do I upload RAW files from my Olympus EM-5 Mark II to Photos?

(2) How do I bulk import Aperture photos with metadata into Photos?

I don't see your camera on the list of supported cameras, yet.

1 - here is the current list for OS X 10.10.3 RAW support - I do not see you camera on it - OS X Yosemite: Supported digital camera RAW formats - Apple Support

2 - No importing - converting - assuming you have not yet converted anything launch Photo - it probably will grab your Aperture library and cover it - it it does not then quit and launch while holding down the option key and select the library you want to convert

Thanks for the helpful replies. I had not found the list of RAW-supported cameras.

Photos grabbed all my old iPhoto files and converted them automatically.  It did nothing with my Aperture files, so I had followed the option key approach and chose most files (20k) for converting.  It seemed to work fine until an hour or so later when I got a screen message saying it could not convert them to Photos because of the metadata.  I found that I can convert about 12 files at a time with metadata, so I am converting only selected files.  That means I have to recreate my filing system. I had not intended to actually access the Aperture files through Photos, but I liked the idea of a third backup system on iCloud.

Isn't it odd that Apple does not provide a seamless conversion from its own product?  I can imagine they were expecting Aperture users to forego Photos, but why not let their customers make that choice?

Other questions:  In editing with Photos, I have loaded all possible adjustments and told the viewer to remember them, but when I crop, they disappear from the screen, so that I have to toggle them back again after each crop.  Is there a way to keep them visible while I crop and avoid the extra step?  Is there a way to show the metadata easily someplace other than right in the middle of the photo I am editing?
