MacbookPro Hard drive is full (without my doing)!

Hello! Our daughter was sharing my Macbook Pro until she gets her own Mac Air a couple years ago. I think her photos might be filling up my hard drive via icloud. How do i stop this? I have only 6GB free out of 200 GB. "Other" takes 140GB. Thanks.

MacBook Pro (17-inch Core 2 Duo), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

First understand what OTHER is:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202867

Download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper and Grand perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Use these as tools to identify files that you want to delete or transfer to and external HDD.

Do not forget to empty trash! Only then will space be made available on the HDD.

Ciao.
