Problems Restarting my iPhone After Restoring to Factory Settings

I recently had an issue when my iPhone froze on the apple logo screen. After restoring my iPhone using iTunes, I tried to enter the apple ID my phone was originally registered to, I ran into a problem. My iPhone says that the account is "disabled for security reasons." Following the instruction, I went to appleid.apple.com and followed the steps; However, when I went to log into my yahoo account, the account was deactivated due to inactivity. I think my problem is that I've been using the apple ID for ages and never updated to newer versions of iTunes. My question is: Is it something I can fixed on my own, or is it a problem that needs to be taken to an apple store?

iPhone 4S, null
