iPod touch
Does Hyundai say it will work with your model iPod and its iOS version?
Sometimes this works
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reet the car system
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Thanks for the info, but I suspect it might be the console in the dash. Hyundai claims that they are working on a new wire for iPod version 4.I had a wire that worked for 3 years with my old 2012 Hyundai. That's why I posted this to see if anyone else had this problem.
