2009 MacPro w/ magic trackpad - cursor movement and single click, but no gestures.

Tried power cycling computer and trackpad, new batteries, bluetooth on/off. It shows as "not connected", but I can still move the cursor and single click. I know this MacPro model has had some bluetooth issues, but it doesn't appear to be the signal. OS 10.9.5 '09 dualquad MacPro

Problem just started. No recent software changes or alteration in physical setup.

Hello elenianderic,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see where you are having issues with your Magic Trackpad and MacPro. Testing the trackpad would be a useful step. But additionally, you might want to explore the possibility of wireless interference. The following article provides information for checking for interference.
