how do I move existing photos on my iphone 4 to icloud. I can't take any more pictures because it says there is not enough available space to take a photo.

I just purchased extra 5.0 GB on icloud so that I can move existing photos from my iphone 4 to icloud. I've turned on photo stream, connected to wifi and then tried to take a picture but a message comes up saying that there is not enough available storage to take a photo. I also can't update to 7.1.2 because it requires at least 3.8 GB of storage. I was hoping to move pictures to free up more space so that I could update to 7.1.2. Please help.

Hi Joy,

The iCloud storage you purchased is going to be more for items like a backing up your iPhone; it does not give more storage physically on your iPhone. What you will want to do is update your iPhone by using iTunes if you do not have enough space. It would also be a good idea to import the photos to your computer to make sure that you have a backup before updating your iPhone. Check out the articles below for more information.
