Sharp PNK321 set up

Can anyone tell me what setting i should be setting to get 4K on my Sharp PNK321 4K monitor? e.g. color profile, etc etc

I have just bought one and paired it with a brand new MacPro and the settings page says aI am getting 3840 x 2160 not 4096 x 2160. On top of that, fonts are pixelated esp in mail and finder. I have played around with scale etc

DNG's and Jpegs look amazing and the screen colors are great

I'm running a thunder port to HDMI cable

You need to use DP input for full support/

HDMI will only get you 30Hz.

I would recommend doing some searches and some reading.

This display is a twin to the Asus PQ-321Q so anything you find about that will apply.

I have just ordered and TB to DP cable and give that a go and look for setting info

Hopefully you got MiniDisplayPort to DisplayPort.

To get 60Hz you will need to use MST mode. Takes 10 tedious button pushes and you will no longer see boot screens.

Thanks again DPart. So it that it? Just the setting from SST to MST? Which colour profile (on the mac side) did you select?

Yes. you're right. Just double checked. It was a mini Dp to DP that I ordered. Thanks for the heads up.

What are your fonts like? I've got my screen looking as it want it but finding text still very blurry. It "seems" to be mainly Adobe products where text like the ribbons etc are blurry. And they are 95% of what I use thought it was a monitor issue
