I installed windows 8.1 on my 13" Mid 2012 Macbook Air. After I installed windows, the WiFi connection gets dropped on both operating systems. The only way to get it back is to restart my router. Windows 7 behaves this was as well. Is there any reason it would be doing this?
MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
Do you have the updated drivers for the Windows side?
Are you running Windows in Boot Camp or in a virtual machine?
I'm running windows via Boot Camp.
Please test on another Wi-Fi network, if possible.
Ok, I did it. It only seems to happen on my TWC Router. What's the best thing to do?
you can try resetting the TWC router, asking the TWC to help and or there forms.
It would seam to be a problem with your router.
After installing Windows, both operating systems drop the WiFi connection.
