drag and drop from photos to keynote?

I can not drag and drop from photos to keynote. I can pick them up after selection of 1 photo but there is no green '+' to drop in keynote nor pages. Normally in iphoto it worked perfectly.

I do have yosemete and photos 1.0

anyone suggestions?
