iPad during thunderstorm? aluminium

Is it safe to use the iPad air 2 during a thunderstorm? if I use celluar 4g.

I was thinking of the body of iPad is aluminium,can it be dangerous?

I mean does the flashes have magnetism to the aluminium?

You have paranoia. To be safe, remove belt buckle, wrist watch, any form of jewelry, cut those aglets from the end of any lacing in your attire.


There is no link between lightning, magnetism or aluminium. The greatest danger is that you might gety the iPad wet, and water might penetrate it and damage it. Lightning is not out to get you.
