Pages couldn't openfile
Pages does not allow me to open files from iCloud and won't save any files. I get a message that says "name of file".pages couldn't be open. I am using the latest iMac and the latest operating system.
That is a decidedly unhelpful message, isn't it? Here are a couple suggestions:
- Open https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your Apple ID and password, and open Pages. Determine if you can load your document.
- If that fails, navigate to the following folder using the following method:
Select the entire line that follows (triple-click to select it), then control-click, and from the contextual menu that appears, select Services > Open:
~/Library/Mobile Documents/
Open the Pages folder and determine if you can find that document and open it.
If you have been using Time Machine, you might find an archived version in that same folder that Pages can open.
