I use system prefs to change my screen saver to be an album in my photo library, which is located on an external hard drive. This works just fine, until several hours later the screen saver returns to being the national geographic set of pictures, which I surmise is the default.
Is this because my photo library is on an external drive?

This has been asked many times before, here is one answered thread:
No fix. I followed the instructions but within several hours, the screen saver had reverted to national geographic. I am now going to move my photo library to the internal HD and see if that makes any difference.
No, moving my photo library to the internal hard drive (Pictures folder) did not help.
Frankly puzzled. I will try the full recipe again, including both trashing of plist files and resetting the power management.
Screen Saver returns to default
