Hi I recently (today) updated my macbook air to OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, and when It was finished restarting there was a new app called Photos.... Now when I try to open iPhoto it says

User uploaded file

And then when I click "Search App Store" it says "the item is currently not available in the store" so now I am worried if I lost all my photos and now need to use Photos.

Please help and I have a lot of photos I can't bare to lose. Thank you and have a good day:)

iPhoto and Aperture are no longer available for Yosemite users. They have also beed pulled from the App Store. Instead of these two apps, Apple has released new Photos for OS X app, which is a replacement. The only way to use iPhoto, is to downgrade your operating system.
