Macbook Pro 8,2 not charging with 1tb SSHD

I have a 15" Macbook Pro 8,2 (Early 2011)

When running the Hitachi 500GB HD or my Samsung Evo 840 500GB SSD my Macbook charges as it should with zero issues. As soon as I change the hard drive to my Seagate 1TB SSHD it stops charging. I have tried another Seagate 1TB SSHD thinking that it may have been a faulty drive, reset my SMC and PRAM, read the forums to find a similar issue and still have had no luck resolving. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Information:

Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

Software: OS X 10.9.5

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), null

It probably looks like a Seagate incompatibility issue. Have a word with Seagate.....

I thought the same think at first, although its the same drive that came out of my mid-2010 15" Macbook Pro, when I put it back into my 2010 everything works fine. Even when installed on the 2011, everything works, just doesn't charge.
