Apr 23, 2015 12:04 PM in response to triciadmeby guibmacario,Hello Triciadme, use this article If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
But if you used this old Apple ID to purchase it than you might need to download it again using your new ID since they're linked to the old one.
Hope this works!! Regards

Apr 23, 2015 12:44 PM in response to triciadmeby Philly_Phan,ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.
Apple did not delete your old ID as it can not be deleted. My WAG is that the rep merely removed it from your iPad.
Go here and "Manage your (old) Apple ID."

Apr 23, 2015 5:45 PM in response to triciadmeby triciadme,Problem is...I do NOT know the password for this "old" apple id. I haven't used this apple id in over 1 year and it "suddenly" started to show up. I can NOT update or down load any updates without knowing the old apple id's password either. I am getting help. I was able to contact tech support and they are in the process of helping me within an email reply to "reset" my password from that old Apple id, in the next 24 hours.
Thank you all for your help! I hope we are able to resolve this issue. Again, it is very odd that my "old" email or original Apple ID decided to appear after such a long span. I will keep you all posted as to how it was resolved when I hear back via an email.
