Sample Editor Remains Empty

Since I installed Logic X, the Sample Editor seems not to work anymore. When I double click a Audio region in the Arrangement, the Sample Editor opens as it should, but it remains empty. No wave form is displayed there. If I activate any Flex Option in the Sample Editor, I cannot use it there (because nothing is being displayed). Instead I can only use in the Arrangement (what works fine for Flex Time, but doesn't for Flex Tune).

Any ideas what might be the reason and how to fix this issue?

Thanks a lot!

Midi-iliterate here. Whilst we're waiting for a reply from Guardian667, I have a similar situation. When I originally installed Logic X 10.2, the External Sample Editor was ponting to /Aplications. It now points to nowhere. I've recently installed Kontakt Komplete 10 Ultimate, Waves Gold, SSD Trigger and Sampler (Platinum), Garritan Complete – in case that has anything to do with it. I only noticed because my Korg Kronos2 is changing Logic X Channel Strips each time I change patches on the keyboard, and I was trying to see if something was wrong in the Logic Prefs.
