iBook G3 stuck on Loading screen

hello, I just got an IBook G3 and it is stuck on the apple loading screen, how can I surpass the loading screen? Yes this G3 is old (don't know the year) and I don't know the OS Since I just got it. Plus I don't care about new computers if it stilol works I'll take it. So can someone help me, thank you! (P.S it's a white G3 snow)

Just recently I got it to boot up but got stuck at the blue screen so I restarted and I'm back to square one... Which means it won't boot up. Any info?

The Hard Drive failed. It is now stuck on the Grey screen (no apple logo) and I did buy a new hard drive, as well as some other parts needed, thanks for visiting my post.
