HELP!!! My iPod touch 4th generation will not play sound when it is charging

Hi my name is Meghan and I have had my iPod 4g for a couple of years and it is not playing sound while it charges.. Please help...

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.6, Only 1-11/2 years old

Hi meghan296,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the iphone has no sound from the speaker. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
