ocr pdf to numbers

I need to convert a scanned PDF to a numbers spreadsheet. I can't seem to find anything out there that will do it. I'd be willing to pay a bit for it, but so far, even on some downloaded trail versions, I get a blank numbers sheet.

a scanned document is generally an image. You will have to use something like Google OCR (https://support.google.com/drive/answer/176692?hl=en) to turn the image back into actual text characters. Then you will have to convert spaces between columns to tabs so that Numbers knowns how to place th text into cells.

Once you have the text in a good format... select all the text, copy, then select a cell in a table, paste.
