How do I update my GPU drivers?

I have an iMac (27-inch, Late 2012) running Yosemite 10.10.3

My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB

I've spent a while trying to find out how to update my GPU drivers but it just left me totally confused.

The CUDA preferences say this:

CUDA Driver Version: 7.0.36

GPU Driver Version: 10.2.7 310.41.25f01

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Your drivers come with OS X. They are updated, if needed, with an OS X upgrade. You can install CUDA if you use software that uses OpenCL. Otherwise, it doesn't help you in any other way.

Do not replace the video drivers you have with any other drivers you may find. They could render your GPU non-functional if you don't know what you are doing. Furthermore, they won't be any better than the driver that comes with OS X.
