Can I restore iCloud contacts from iPad?

I accidently deleted the contacts in my address book on my Mac, which also deleted the contacts from iCloud and my MacBook Pro, and most of the ones from my iPhone. Fortunately, my iPad was not connected to wireless at the time, so the contacts are still on there. How do I go about restoring everything from the iPad? I am afraid that if I connect it to wireless, the contacts on it will also be deleted.

If I disable iCloud on all my other devices and then connect my iPad to the wireless, will that do it?
