Safari Homepage Setup

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina Display) 15" Late 2013 model and I set my homepage to Google.com, but when I quit out of Safari and startup Safari, it will view "Welcome to Safari: Start using Safari" and not display my homepage as Google.com. Any help here? I've done this multiple times already and still no set homepage.

1. Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

2. Delete Cookies

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:

Click “Details” button.

Remove all cookies except from Apple, your ISP and banks.

3. Visit Google.com

Safari > Preferences > General > Homepage:

Click the "Set to Current Page" button.

4. Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.

Turn on those one by one and test.
