Q: Can't make partition on boot camp

I receive this message "An error occurred while partitioning the disk" I tried everything I found on the forums, and still having the problem.  I even uninstall parallel desktop.  Maybe the problem is my SSD disk IDK...  Please help!!

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

    Why would you be using Bootcamp with Parallels?

    Check the startup disk for errors.

     

     

    Launch Disk Utility located in /Applications/Utilities

     

    Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.

     

    Click:  Verify Disk   (not Verify Disk Permissions)

     

    If the disk needs repairing, since your Mac is running v10.10.3 (according to your profile) restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you should be able to repair the disk using OS X Recovery.


    Make sure to backup your important data first.

     

    Sorry if you have already tried this but unless you state exactly what you have tried that didn't work, we have no way of knowing.
