Q: Can't choose iPhoto library ("already migrated" message) in Photos app, how can I fix it? or reset the iPhoto library?

at the first run of Photos app it duplicate iPhoto library to another library - Photos library
I've deleted the Photo app library and tried to open and select my iPhoto library as the working library for Photos app.
Photos app won't let me select it,

    I just fixed this!

    Go to your Pictures Folder.

    Select your iPhoto Library

Then press cmd + i. The information from your iPhoto library will be displayed.
In the "Name & Extension" text field replace the content with "Photos Library.photoslibrary"
    Open your Photos app
    That's all!

    Good Luck!

Or just open it with iPhoto 9.6.1 and agree to open it and it will revert

The way you did i you have now lost your ability to go back to iphoto is you want to or need to
