exporting or sharing iMovie causes crash

I am trying to either share my imovie to youtube or Facebook or even trying to export it onto my desk top.

I can do this OK with an older iMovie, which I have recently edited.

However I have just made a new movie and anything I do trying to "Share", causes iMovie to crash.

What can I do to get the movie out there?
