Use Applescript to Open/Close an app at specific times

Hi All,

I want to use BitTorrent sync to synchronise two hard drives on two different sites, it doesn't have a scheduling function to keep all traffic away from peak hours. Is there a way to automate the launch and shutdown of these apps, for a specific time.
