Apr 24, 2015 6:07 AM in response to Akilpby Demo,My first inclination is that if you tried copying the file, but cut it instead and then used recovery software to get it back without success, then it is gone and unrecoverable.
But a few questions first ....Copy from where on the iPad? How were you planning on transferring it to your computer after copying? What video recovery software did you use and did you use it on the iPad?

Apr 24, 2015 6:08 AM in response to Akilpby jazcan,If you haven't performed any further copy or cut commands, then you should still be able to paste the video (it would still be on the clipboard) At least that is what I have experienced in the past.
Had you made a backup recently when the video was still on your device? If so, you can restore your iPad from backup:

Apr 24, 2015 6:13 AM in response to Demoby Akilp,Yeah, I opened the file in the iPad storage, and clicked to copy (cut), then the incident happened. I then downloaded iSkysoft recovering tool, but it only showed me pics that I had deleted. And I was simply planning to just copy and paste it from the iPad to my PC.

Apr 24, 2015 6:16 AM in response to jazcanby Akilp,I haven't done the recovery thing, only reading about it today. After I cancelled the copy...I did an undo...hoping I could of just re clicked to copy instead of cut the file and transfer it to where I wanted it.

Apr 24, 2015 6:16 AM in response to Akilpby Demo,Take a look at jazcan's response, however, I'm still unclear how you planned to paste the file to the PC. If you emailed it to yourself and then saved it to the PC, that would make sense, but I don't know how to copy and paste to the computer from the iPad. I could be missing something very obvious as I am apt to do at times, but this one escapes me.
There are WiFi transfer apps that would transfer videos and iTunes would be another solution, but copy and paste?

Apr 24, 2015 6:19 AM in response to Demoby Akilp,Oh, I plugged in the Data cable from the iPad to the computer. iTunes opens up automatically, but if you just go to my computer....it usually shows you the name of your iPad, with the capacity storage. When you open that, you get to view all your pics and videos. So i was intending to do a copy and paste like that.

Apr 24, 2015 6:38 AM in response to Akilpby jazcan,This is a long shot but try pressing Ctrl +Y to undo your 'undo' command, then try pasting into a folder. Obviously if you have done other commands since, it won't work but you have nothing to lose.

Apr 24, 2015 6:49 AM in response to Akilpby raymond73,Cancelling during a CUT operation will still leave the file in place. The file is NOT removed from the source until the transfer (PASTE) is complete. I have done this many times with large files, stopped the CUT process and the original file in it's original location is still there.
Something else happened to the video. Perhaps you did not paste the video where you thought. You may want to search your folders for the existence of the video.

Apr 24, 2015 7:01 AM in response to raymond73by Akilp,4.62 KB of the 6 GB file has been transferred to where I didn't want it, but it's completely gone from the iPad.
