I want to remove my dad's photos in cloud off my phone to make more space

Basically my dad's photos and my own photos synced together because we both were using his icloud account. he has more pictures than me To he's taking up space on my phone. how can i delete his pictures without permanently deleting them from icloud??? i signed out of his icloud already but they're still there !!!!!
