Midi events duplicated when glueing regions

Hi

I was hoping some one could help with the following?

When I create a 1 bar region and put MSB / LSB / Volume and Pan control midi events and a Program change in it, if I create another region on the same track and glue regions together, the MSB / LSB / Volume and Pan control midi events are duplicated. It doesn't if you either record a region or put one on the track via the pencil tool, as soon as you glue the regions together all control changes are duplicated even if you only have information in one region

Does anyone know why this happens in Logic, if if so how can it be stopped.

This is 1 bar before glueing it to and empty region

1 2 1 1 Control 1 0 89 Bank MSB

1 2 1 2 Control 1 32 64 Bank LSB

1 2 1 3 Program 1 ÷ 6 Harpsichord

1 2 1 4 Control 1 7 100 Volume

1 2 1 5 Control 1 10 64 Pan

After glueing the regions

1 2 1 1 Control 1 0 89 Bank MSB

1 2 1 2 Control 1 32 64 Bank LSB

1 2 1 3 Program 1 ÷ 6 Harpsichord

1 2 1 4 Control 1 7 100 Volume

1 2 1 5 Control 1 10 64 Pan

1 4 2 240 Control 1 0 89 Bank MSB

1 4 2 240 Control 1 32 64 Bank LSB

1 4 2 240 Control 1 7 100 Volume

1 4 2 240 Control 1 10 64 Pan

1 4 4 240 Control 1 0 89 Bank MSB

1 4 4 240 Control 1 32 64 Bank LSB

1 4 4 240 Control 1 7 100 Volume

1 4 4 240 Control 1 10 64 Pan

The control changes are copied but no the program change,

I placed this question on Logic pro help forum and someone did what I did in Logic X and got the same result, is this a bug?

Please help

Many Thanks
