rMBP 2015 Wake Reason: ARPT (Network)

I started having this problem soon after upgrading to el capitan. With the following error:

This happened every minute or two. The battery would drain 40% overnight and laptop would be slightly warm in the morning.

I tried everything suggested in the web that I could find: disabled sharing, wake for network access, pmset changes, reinstalled el capitan on the existing install, reinstall after erasing the root partition. I was having the same problem even with a fresh install on a clean partition.

Disabling wifi before sleep fixed, but that was not an option to do every day. But, if there is a script or something that disables wifi on sleep that'd work.

I didn't have this problem on work network only in the home network. In the home network I have three SSID, Two of them are on the of type N (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) coming from a router running openwrt latest. The third is of type G from a second router used as an extender. It's running dd-wrt. For some reason connecting to the G network while putting the mac didn't cause the mac to wake up through out the night. Only 4-5 times due to the following error:

So, I am planning to connect to the slower G network at home until there is a fix.

I have exactly same problem with u. My Early2015 RMBP wakes 3times in a minute during sleeping mode.

Can turn off wifi really address battery drain when sleep?

Got the same issue. I put my 2015 MBP to sleep at 99% charge and woke up with 24% battery remaining.

pmset -g stats

Sleep Count:596

Dark Wake Count:595

User Wake Count:3

turn off the wifi before sleep and every thing gonna be fine in the morning

I know this is going to sound stupid, but I was having the exact same issues. I did try the "turn off wifi trick", which did help, but that process is annoying to me. Then I decided to fully shut down the Mac. I let it sit for a min or 2 off, then fired it back up.

SInce then then it acts like normal. No more battery loss, even with wifi enabled.

Ive been having this problem too. When I'm connected to my router/wifi, the computer never sleeps, wakes up multiple times a minute, and drains all battery. See a sample below:

I tested to see if this is my router by leaving my Wifi ON, and unplugging my router. It sleeps fine with Wifi ON and router OFF. So its the connection between the router and the computer that is doing this. Still is a bug, hope they fix it!

its a Time Warner Router.

No. Apple has given no answers or support either. The only thing to do is turn off wifi before you sleep.

Yeah, but this is only a temporary solution. Hope the next update will tackle this problem..

Just for visibility, I'm getting the same issue with a 2015 MBP 13". Started immediately after install El Capitan, and is ameliorated by turning off WiFi (which isn't an acceptable fix).

Hope this is sorted out soon.

I have this problem on my 2015 12" MB after upgrading to El Capitan as well...

/Library/Extensions delete everything in this folder and its works
