iTunes song won't play on authorized device

I purchased an iTunes song and it is listed on my playlists but when I try to play it I am asked to authorize my device. I do this, am told the device is already authorized, but when I choose the song again the same message appears. I have tried to play it on my MacBook Pro and my iPhone 6. The same message appears on both devices, and both are authorized. Advice?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Delete and redownload it if doing so is free in your country.
