Hi there,
I have suddenly started to get an annoying popup when I select web pages that says "safari can't verify the identity of the website "rover.ebay.com".
How can I stop this happening?
Any help much appreciated.

This same popup has basically hijacked my MACbook pro. Please apple, do something to fix this...

This is not caused by malware. Go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions, do you see anything related to eBay?
I have no extensions. And I disabled extensions…
I'm getting this as well. Seems to be conflicting views. Anyone with solid info?

I had this same problem. What I did was go to cookies. In that it has a listing of all the cookies on your computer. I deleted all of my cookies including the rover.ebay.rtm which I suspect is the rover ebay pop up source. Since I have done this, I have had no further problems with the rover pop up. I hope this helps you as it has me.
