My iPhone 6 Plus has no sound through speakers either through iTunes or during phone calls - the only way to hear anything is by using headphones or via speakerphone while making phone calls,
How can I repair this issue?

Take the headphones out, play a song from the Music app, adjust the volume. If the volume is labeled Headphones get a flashlight and clean any debris/obstructions/lint/dead rats/etc. you find in the jack and try again.
