Apr 24, 2015 1:26 PM in response to sanandreasfaultby Ingo2711,As far as I know, only some data between Apple devices can be exchanged via Bluetooth, for example contacts. No other Bluetooth profiles are supported than handsfree, headphones or keyboards, playing music etc.

Edit: it is the MAP profile (iPhone 4 and later) in iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles - Apple Support

Apr 25, 2015 2:00 PM in response to FoxFifthby sanandreasfault,I used a Motorola Razr for years and this feature worked from day one when I bought my new car in 2010...Ford Fusion. Now, with an iPhone 6 no amount of tinkering with it will make it work..... Just thought I'd throw that in.

Apr 25, 2015 2:11 PM in response to sanandreasfaultby FoxFifth,With my car, on the phone I go to Settings > Bluetooth and tap the blue i in a circle beside the vehicle name to get to the vehicle-specific Bluetooth options. You've likely already tried that, but just in case.
