Q: How do I restore a deleted album?

Hello, I accidentally deleted a bunch of albums from Photos. I figured out how to get the actual photos back easily enough. I just went to the "Show Recently Deleted" items option in the File menu and restored all the photos that had been deleted.

 

But the albums themselves didn't come back. The names now seem to be permanently gone from the Albums portion of the sidebar. Is there a way to bring back the actual albums? Or am I totally out of luck?

 

It did it from iCloud, too. Those albums now all disappeared from my iPhone. The pictures are all back, and appear under Photos and Years/Collections/Moments. But the albums are gone.

So you are not using Time Machine backup? Then you will have to recreate the albums yourself.
