Sync photos from Photos 1.0 to iPhone

I am not able to select photos from Photos 1.0 to sync to my phone. See screenshots below:

Here's a shot of what my interface is supposed to look like. I stole this shot from this link. Notice "Sync Photos from" and then the ability to choose an app.

Here's what MY interface looks like. Notice that "Sync Photos from" is missing and replaced with only "Sync Photos." When I click "Sync Photos," the only options I receive under the "Copy photos from" dropdown menu are "Pictures" folder and "Choose folder." I don't seem to be able to choose an app like the first screenshot above suggests. Thoughts? Thank you!
