Need help transferring I-phone photos to computer

Hello,

I downloaded photos from my old PC onto my iPhone so I would have them since I was getting rid of the computer. Then, I bought a Mac and still have the photos and videos on my phone. The photos and videos are under an album that says" I-phone Photos" under that it says "283 from My Computer". Basically, I am having a difficult time transferring those 283 photos and something interesting is that I cannot delete these photos either. I would really appreciate some help and if you want me to elaborate more to explain the situation just ask.

Thanks!
