Q: when trying to restore my iphone to factory settings it tells me I have to turn off an icloud setting on the phone. I've forggoten my passcode and obviously cannot do this. What do I do?

I've forgotten my passcode and am trying to restore my phone. It connects to iTunes but when I push restore, I get an alert to shut off an icloud setting on the phone which I obviously cannot do. What now?
