Trouble installing Windows 7 via bootcamp in OS 10.10.3

I just bought a 27" I Mac Retina with a 4 gig I 7, 256 gb flash, 8 gb Ram (soon to be upgraded) and 4 gig video Ram running OS 10.10.3. I downloaded the latest Apple support software onto a flash drive, and used a Windows 7 64bit install disc that I've used successfully on my 09 Mac Pro running OS 10.9.5. Partitioning and installing/expanding the Windows software goes without a hitch. After restart, when it asks for a computer name, the keyboard and trackball won't work. Because I can't input any info, I can't proceed with the install. I'm using a wired keyboard and trackball so bluetooth isn't the issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
